I have a lot of wonderful ideas and plans for this year.

THURSDAY EVENING MINDFUL MEDITATION COURSE.

This 8 week course begins on 7th February. Bookings are essential. Cost $180

Develop a calm attitude to life and become a calm person. Meditation teaches you how to cultivate awareness in the present moment.

The asana are the beginning of your yoga journey. Are you ready to move deeper into your practice?

The class begins with a cuppa and each week we will focus on different emotions. Learn about powerful Herbal Teas and their effect on your emotions.

Learn simple meditations and pranayama.

The second half of the class will be a laying down meditation such as Yoga Nidra.

I am a Thought Field Therapy Practitioner. This amazing technique  teaches 5 minute tapping sequences on the hands and face to quickly release emotions such as anger, fear, grief and guilt. This will be taught after 7pm if you wish to stay and learn them.

I am writing a modern book on living well with Ayurveda, Illustrated with my photos from my travels and garden and also with mine and Rosie's paintings. Learn simple meditations, how to cook my favourite vegetarian meals and how to grow your own medicine - one plant at a time !

There will be 52 ways to improve your health and wellbeing. I am slowly loading them onto my website. I  am hoping people will donate $20 and join Bird Song Learning Circle. My Mum is the first to join she loves my veggie chilli and forgets how to make it.

CHILDRENS YOGA

At the moment I am studying a kids yoga teacher training. I am really enjoying it, kids yoga has to be fun as well as relaxing and it is reminding me to have fun and not be too serious about life. Easter holidays I plan to teach some donation based classes. Family yoga for littlies & parents and a aged 5 - 10 class.

SINGING BOWLS

I was lucky enough to receive not one but two singing bowls for Christmas and have been enjoying playing them...I am looking forward to teaching some new classes around them. One is connected to strength, the lowest note C and the base chakra and the other peace and silence, the crown chakra and the note A. Each bowl made is different and creates a harmonic sound which vibrates through your body and effects even your DNA. For more information. See Docter Gaynor's talks on You Tube.

SUMMER YOGA

Cooling, strengthening and relaxing with a lot of Yin postures for flexibility. We will also be exploring Acuyoga which was part of my Yin Teacher Training. Learning how to use acupressure to open the energy channels in the body. The point between the thumb and index finger is particularly useful for letting go. Letting go of pain and calming a busy mind.

I am really looking forward to this New year. Who knows what will happen but I want to live and learn through all of life's experiences good and bad.
