Spring is here and it is now the 7th year of teaching yoga but not at the Hall this September unfortunately. Instead I am teaching on Zoom and have been for 6 weeks, it has given me more freedom as I am not limited to the Hall availability and I am planning lots of interesting workshops.

*All payments for Zoom Classes are donated on to the Kincumber Community Centre Food Pantry.

My family are lucky, my husband’s job has not been affected, our mortgage is getting low and although I am not earning...we are ok financially but I know many are struggling and community centres across the Coast and probably Australia have larger numbers of people who need help after losing their income.

So please join my classes. Become healthier in body and mind and practice yoga...which means connection and help others. This is actually one of the important teachings of yoga. When you give, you receive. It makes me feel empowered and gives me a feeling of doing my best to help in this difficult time. When I give. I am no longer acting in my own self-interest but for the wellbeing of others and it makes me feel that I am contributing positively to society.

Thank You so much.

*New Zoom Class - Join my home practice. Wednesday's 9 - 10 am

Before teaching my classes I practice at home first. I add and change things through the weeks and work out how I can adapt them for class. At home I usually have music, yoga music such as Sacred Earth playing and I don’t have a plan to begin with. I have a class focus and I see what happens, where it flows. I know the asana well, can move into most of them with ease and it is the Mudra or hand positions and the meditations and how I feel that are important. Would you like to practice with me? You’ll need to know the asana quite well and how to adapt them. I’ll teach you the hand gestures instead of hand stands, meditations, massage and more. For me I can only describe this form of yoga as a spiritual practice. It lifts my spirit, makes me feel so wonderful and I would like to share this with you.
