Is our focus for Christmas.
Often when we watch what is happening on the news. It makes us feel overwhelmed and fearful with little control over our lives. We lose our sense of peace and look to blame other people.
Yoga teachings can help us to see things very differently and help us to understand that peace must first of all come from within ourselves. This gives us back our power. We can change the world one person at a time by offering OUR peace and happiness to our family, friends and community.
We must practice self love, self care and non harm.
When we look after ourselves, it makes us happier. Being around someone who is mostly happy, peaceful and content with life has a huge influence on children, family, friends and the community.
This is not easy because we are living in very negative times. We are driven by society to find happiness in material things.
The gift of happiness and peace is within you. It is yours to experience and then to share.
Yoga has many meditations and teachings on how to find peace. Lets explore them this month.

A small gift.. I know how much everyone loved the fluffy eye mask with essential oils and have bought 1 for each of you to bring to class. A drop of essential oil on them from my ever growing collection makes the relaxation part of the class pretty special.
Christmas Morning Tea
Morning tea in my garden. Arrive any time between 9.30 - 12.30 am
I will make a few bits and there will be normal tea and herbal teas to try or call in at the Bottle Tree Café and bring along a coffee.
If the weather is not good I’ll cancel it for another time.
